The Great Michigan Read

The Great Michigan Read is a book club for the entire state. With a statewide focus on a single book - Stealing Buddha's Dinner by Bich Minh Nguyen - it encourages Michiganians to learn more about their state, their history, and their society. We have several copies of this book available for check out, so come on in!
Here at the Henika Library, on Tuesday, November 17th at 7 PM, Gordon Olson will coming to talk about his book, "Flight to Freedom". Gordon's book along with "Stealing Buddha's Dinner" is about the Vietnamese in West Michigan. Join us for this informative program and if you like, share your immigrant story.
